It has been a few years (okay, probably 10) since I've owned my own domain name. When my daughter was born, there weren't a lot of options out there to host pictures and blurbs to share with family back home. I'll take you way back and say that I even tried out geocities as a host. It was a crazy time, before "blogging" was something anyone actually did. I lived on Live Journal but that was more of a diary...I didn't think my family wanted to know that my new office light buzzed and that I hated my new job and couldn't wait for lunch. Now everyone seems to want that information via facebook & twitter.

Here I am trying to say something about my new domain name and all I've succeeded in doing is making myself feel old.

Ahem.

Just about every site I visit has my user name as Kristy Mae or some version of it. So I bought http://www.kristymae.com/. And now will proceed to inhabit it. Though it might be difficult convincing my dear husband to change his email address to mrkristy@kristymae.com ;)
